Luceafarul - Website dedicated to Mihail Eminescu. Translations by A. G. Sahlean are presented alongside renditions of the same texts by other well-known translators of Eminescu. This is a unique feature unmatched by any other poetry site and is meant to give the reader a better insight into the difficulties related to translating Eminescu's content, musicality, style of language, etc.

Jeremy Geidt - Senior Actor, founding member of the Yale Repertory Theatre and the American Repertory Theatre. He was the narrator in the production of the CD “Eternal Longing, Impossible Love,” the poems of Mihai Eminescu translated by Mr. Sahlean.

Horia Mihail link-to-be-added Romanian concert pianist and member of the Romanian Trio. He was the piano performer for the music illustration in the production of the CD “Eternal Longing, Impossible Love,” the poems of Mihai Eminescu translated by Mr. Sahlean.

Lidia Bradley Gheorghiu - Founder of the Aspera Foundation, sponsor of the Memoria.ro website--a library of interviews, memories, studies of oral history as well as books and pictures from political, social and cultural events of Romania's recent history. A grant from the Aspera Foundation made possible the initial recordings for the Eminescu CD project featured on this site.

Peter Kayafas - American photographer, author of several travel books and director of the New York-based Eakins Press Foundation, currently working with Mr. Sahlean on “The Merry Cemetery of Sapanta,” a book of photographs of the unique tombstones with translations of the epitaphs. His photographs were recently exhibited at the Romanian Consulate in Washington at the time of Mr. Sahlean’s presentation there.

Dino Ghezzo - Composer, performer and director, of NYU composition program. A new version of his multi-media work based on A. G. Sahlean's English translation of Eminescu's Luceafarul (The Legend of the Evening Star), premiered in NY in 2005, is in its final stages and scheduled to be produced also on disc in 2007.

Ion Caramitru - Actor, former Romanian Minister of Culture, president of UNITER (the Romanian Actors' Union) and Director of the Romanian National Repertory Theatre His devotion to Eminescu and contribution to his legacy both on and off stage have been enormous.

Terrence Christgau link-to-be-added Visual and Performing Arts Director at the Dwight School, New York. He directed the 2005 Off-Broadway performance of 'The Legend of the Evening Star' featured on our site also providing the off-stage voice of the poem's narrator.

Raluca Georgiana Shields link-to-be-added Actress, dancer and teacher of drama at the Dwight School, New York. She choreographed the 2005 Off-Broadway performance of 'The Legend of the Evening Star' and performed in the lead role of Catalina featured on our site.

Ion Ionescu - Romanian American New Age composer and pianist. He composed and performed the music for the 2005 Off-Broadway performance of 'The Legend of the Evening Star' featured on our site.

Boston Romanian Honorary Consulate - A very informative site about Romania and the Romanian Boston community maintained by the indefatigable Honorary Consul Dan Dimancescu. Mr. Sahlean is a member of the Advisory Group on Culture

Prince Radu von Hohenzollern-Verigen - Prince Radu, married to former Romanian King Michael's daughter, Princess Margareta, is the Special Representative of the Romanian Government for Integration, Cooperation and Sustainable Development. A former actor, Prince Radu is the author of several books, and was the narrator of A. G. Sahlean's English translation of Eminescu's Luceafarul (The Legend of the Evening Star) on a 2002 audio disc sponsored by the Romanian Cultural Institute and the British Council.

Anca Parghel - Singer, band leader, composer, teacher, pianist. Anca has performed jazz has participated in fund raising events for Global Arts.

Elena Liliana Popescu - Romanian poetess, translator and mathematician , whose English translations by Adrian G Sahlean appeared in the 1999 volume 'Song of Love'. A second edition is scheduled to appear in spring 2007.

Tudor Bota - Romanian American pianist and piano teacher. He and Mr. Sahlean have collaborated in the past on musical presentations

Alexandru Tomescu - Editor of on-line publication on 'Aternativa' / The Alternative, (Romanian & English) - an informative site beyond the Romanian Canadian community it serves.

Nicolae Voiculet link-to-be-added Pan-flutist international rising star, Nicolae participated in a solidarity concert for Global Arts for the victims of Katrina and the flooding in Romania.

Ana Sorina Popa link-to-be-added Romanian American pianist, organist and music director at First Parish Church in Dorchester, MA. She and Mr. Sahlean have collaborated in the past on various occasions, including the Solidarity Concert at Wellesley College for the victims of Katrina and the floodings in Romania at the same time.

Marc Marinescu link-to-be-added Romanian-born Canadian fine artist who coordinated the events and exhibitions related to the dedication of Place de la Roumanie in Montreal, wherein a statue of the Romanian national poet Mihai Eminescu was placed.
